This will be the busiest day for the blog since I started so hopefully it will also be the most profitable, 6 selections from 5 races all at nice each-way prices. Good luck if you follow.

15:00 Yarmouth - GANGLAND 8/1

0.5 Points Each-Way

Laubali and Zizum both come here off the back of very encouraging runs so it is not surprising to see them towards the top of a competitive market, but I fancy one of the more experienced runners here in the shape of Gangland. Richard Fahey's charge ran a race which suggested he is a winner in waiting last time at Newcastle when a close second. He stayed on strongly in the closing stages and made ground from some way back in a race where it paid to be up with the pace. He can make his experience count in a competitive event.

15:30 Yarmouth - INCREDIBLE DREAM 10/1

0.5 Points Each-Way

Jim Crowley is an eye catching booking for Dean Ivory on board Incredible Dream, especially given Crowley was on board the favourite Hajaam when recording his second win in a sequence which he bids to extend to four here. Incredible Dream was a shade disappointing last time out but he probably found the 1m6f trip on heavy ground was stretching his stamina too far. Back in trip and on ground not quite as testing, he looks worth a small each-way play.

16:40 Newcastle - FRUIT SALAD 13/2

1 Point Each-Way

Fruit Salad ran well on the return from a short break last time and looks very interesting dropped in grade off a 1lb lower mark. She was outpaced early on in that contest so she did well to stick to the task and be beaten only 2 1/2 lengths. James Bethell's filly's last race at this track came off a mark 2lb lower than todays, she was only beaten a neck that day by Intense Romance, who is now rated 91 (16lb higher than that day). If Fruit Salad can run to that level here then she will take some stopping.

17:10 Newcastle - POPPY IN THE WIND 14/1

0.5 Points Each-Way

Poppy In The Wind has now dropped to a workable mark and she could capitalise on that with this return to a track where she is yet to run a bad race (She has only finished unplaced twice from her six starts here, and she was fourth on both this occasions). She is only one pound higher than her win over course and distance in a higher grade at the start of this year and Josh Doyle's 3lb claim to aid her cause.

19:45 Kempton - DARK SIDE DREAM 8/1

0.5 Points Each-Way

Dark Side Dream ran a huge race when winning here on his latest start and can remain competitive off a 3lb higher mark. He was drawn very wide that day, which is particularly difficult for a horse that races so prominently, and he had to be ridden early to get across to take the lead before making all. With a much kinder draw today and the excellent Lewis Edmunds remaining in the saddle, I expect him to make a bold bid again.

SHOW STEALER 15/2

0.5 Points Each-way

In the same race Show Stealer certainly looks worth a bet too. He ran his best race for over a year when finishing third in a higher grade at Chelmsford on his latest start, where he ran on well in the closing stages. The step up to 6f looks sure to suit and he gets to race off a mark of 84 once again, which seems crazy given he beat Marsha at Newmarket last summer.
