One from the tracker runs here which is ATRIUM, who on the face of it was fairly well beaten over this course and distance last time out but that effort can be marked up considerably. He made a decent amount of ground late on despite being drawn on completely the wrong side of the track. Charlie Fellowe's runner clearly loves a strongly run straight mile and while there isn't stacks of pace in this, it should be run at a reasonable enough tempo. He remains only 3lb higher than when winning at Doncaster on his final start of last season when he won much more comfortably than the half length margin suggests. I'm sure he'll win another one of these mile handicaps this season and don't see why it can't be here today.
INTELLOGENT's form figures of 707-4 don't exactly inspire much confidence, but all of those runs came in group company. He now drops back down into handicap company for the first time since a desperately unlucky 2nd in the John Smith's cup at York off this mark and, while that came over a longer trip, he had run a blinder when a 40/1 second in the Royal Hunt Cup previously. I'll take him each-way too with almost every firm offering 4 places.
ATRIUM 6/1 - 1 Point Win
INTELLOGENT 11/1 - 0.5 Point Each-Way

ANOTHER BATT was an eye-catcher last time at Chester when meeting trouble from a wide draw in a competitive event and I think he rates a decent bet here. He now returns to a track where his form figures of 113, winning this event 2 years ago off a mark of 90 and running a creditable 3rd off 92 last year. Now all the way down to a mark of 82 despite valid excuses the last twice, he looks very well treated and with firms paying 5 places I'll take him each-way.
ANOTHER BATT 10/1 - 1 Point Each-Way
